   Hi Dan,
   Lovin’ your pics!
   I stumbled across your page, while i was googling “freelance photography”, i’m a student, in 6th year living in Dublin.
   I really think i’d enjoy doing the freelance thing on the side.(hopefully college happens next year!)
   But basically what i wanted to ask you, do you know how i’d go about trying to access to venues, without contract. I still need to work on a portfolio, i’ve thrown a simple “coming soon” webpage together(@ http://www.audaciousimages.net/), i was thinking if i email promoters from ‘@audaciousimages.net’ address, i might get a more positive response than i would with the hotmail address. Could you foresee me getting anywhere with the emails? Camerawise i’ve a Nikon D70, only with a 18-70mm & a 70-300mm lens.
   Do you think i’ve any hope of getting passes from promoters?
